Meyer Utility Structures has acquired the assets of Baldwin Lighting, Inc., a leading manufacturer of pre-stressed concrete structures for the utility, lighting, telecom, and DOT markets with its primary focus in the Southeast US.
Baldwin Lighting is based in Bay Minette, Alabama and has been a family led business since its founding in 1997. Ken Sharpless will lead this business as Vice President & General Manager of the newly formed Meyer Concrete Structures, within Meyer Utility Structures.
This acquisition allows us to expand our product portfolio and advance our market growth goals. There are exciting synergy opportunities to serve our Meyer customers with expanded solutions. Meyer Concrete Structures is well positioned to increase capacity and contribute to Meyer’s commitment to the Energy Equipment Group while supporting Arcosa’s growth strategy.
